Aftermarket spring perches are not allowed in the V-8 Thunderstock division whatsoever. Drivers can utilize pigtail racing springs, or weld a pipe of the appropriate diameter on top of the existing rear end spring mount for conventional racing spring applications.
Effective immediately, the E-Mod division at Bubba Raceway Park will make the following changes to the Rocker Arm rules going forward.
Stamped steel 1.5 ratio. 1.52 and 1.6 roller tips will be allowed. May use Speedway part #287-11801. May run 1.5 or 1.6 roller tip rockers, steel only. Must maintain 390/410 lift at valve.
Attention Gladiator Drivers: A new rule addendum has been added to the Gladiator Division. Effective immediately, any rear wheel drive cars will be allowed to weld and lock their differential. Differential must remain Stock OEM for make and model. No posi-traction. Trucks only are allowed 110” wheelbase.
A new change has also been added for all regular season points races at Bubba Raceway Park for 2014.
All Hobby Stock and V-8 Thunder Stock competitors will now have their 3 lowest season points totals from races dropped from their end of the season points totals. All other points divisions will now have their 1 lowest season race points total dropped from their end of season points total.
Note: Disqualifications do not qualify for a dropped race and will remain a zero on your end of season points.
These changes have been made in order to allow for mechanical or personal situations to have the least possible effect on our season long points races as we determined was in the best interest of all Competitors. We appreciate your support and look to continue to provide the top racing experience in Florida for all our competing race teams and drivers.
Ocala, FL (7/28/14) – All V-8 Thunderstocks participating at Bubba Raceway Park on August 2nd will be required to pass pre-technical inspection. The tech area will be open from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm and all cars must be visually inspected including body, chassis and suspension, brakes and all safety equipment.
