General Rules

The rules and regulations set forth at Bubba Raceway Park are designed to provide for the orderly conduct of racing events and to establish minimum acceptable requirements for such events. These rules shall govern the conduct of all events. It is the obligation of each participant to ensure that his or her conduct and equipment comply with the rules and regulations set forth herein.

BUBBA RACEWAY PARK 2019 WINTERNATIONALS RAIN CHECK POLICY:
If the weatherman does not cooperate with the race program prior to the completion of the heat races, rain checks will be honored for either the rescheduled race, or in the event the race is not rescheduled, the next scheduled 2019 Winter Nationals series race of the same sanctioning body. They will NOT be honored at any other time. Tickets or wrist bands from the rained out show must be presented for rain check credit as described above. The completion of heat races on any race night shall constitute a completed show and rain checks will NOT be honored for subsequent shows. In the event of a rain out that is not rescheduled and tickets/wristbands are accepted for the next series race as described above the face value of the ticket/wrist band will be credited towards the next series race. In the event the next race has a higher admission price any additional admission fees will be the responsibility of the ticket/wrist band holder to pay prior to admittance. Other than rain checks as described above there will be no compensation or refunds of any kind for any tickets/wristbands purchased. All sales are FINAL. Please bear with us during inclement weather, and thanks for your patience and understanding.

SECTION I: General

  1. No one may enter the pits area until they have personally signed all releases, registrations, and entry forms. No person can sign for another under any circumstances. No minor may enter the pit area without signing the minor release form and annual release form.
  2. Bubba Raceway Park or promoter may REFUSE to accept entry of any car, driver, or patron. NO COOLERS ALLOWED IN GENERAL ADMISSION AREA.
  3. No drinking of alcoholic beverages in the pit area prior to or during any racing event. NO TOLERANCE! All laws pertaining to narcotics will be strictly enforced. Anyone suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be turned over to the Sheriff’s department for further evaluation. There is no insurance coverage for anyone under the influence of alcohol or narcotics if they are injured.
  4. At all Bubba Raceway Park events, the driver assumes responsibility for his or her pit area and the actions of his or her pit crew and or guests in every respect. In any and all matters pertaining to the race, the driver shall be the sole spokesman for his or her car owner and pit crew.
  5. FIGHTING in the pits or on the track will not be tolerated. You will be disqualified, fined, suspended, or any combination thereof. Anyone entering a pit area other than his own, should a disturbance occur, said party not in his or her pit area will be considered to be at fault.
  6. Stopping on the track anywhere to protest anything will result in car and driver being disqualified.
  7. Refusing to obey any flag rules will result in disqualification and/or fine at flagman’s discretion.
  8. Decisions of Bubba Raceway Park racing officials or interpretations of rules pertaining to race, scoring of positions shall be considered final.
  9. No one shall subject any official, management, or track employee to abusive or inappropriate conduct or improper language at any time. Anyone doing so is subject to fine, suspension and/or loss of points for one or more race events at discretion of Bubba Raceway Park officials.
  10. No awards, point money, or admittance will be given until fines are paid.
  11. No car or driver will be allowed to compete in any event at Bubba Raceway Park until all fines are paid in full in cash.
  12. All cars must have front and rear hook-up. If not we will push or drag you into the infield.
  13. Trying to create a yellow by spinning out on purpose or stalling anywhere on the track surface to have more time will be automatic one lap penalty.
  14. Flat tires: You will not be allowed to run on a flat tire at anytime. You must immediately enter pits or infield as soon as possible. All drivers must sit in stock location except Late Models and Modifieds.
  15. All cars must run an overflow can for radiator. WATER ONLY FOR COOLANT
  16. No electric fuel pumps permitted unless noted in division rules.
  17. There is a 5 mph speed limit in the pits. Failure to do so may result in removal from pits.
  18. A car can only compete in one class unless authorized by the management.
  19. NO tire softeners. NO soaking of tires. NO pre-heating of tires. NO chemicals of any type inside of tires except oxygen or nitrogen. Must see individual class rules
  20. Any dumping of oil on grounds intentionally will result in suspension, loss of all points, money and will be reported to the proper authorities.
  21. Tow vehicles only in the pit area. If you don’t have a race car behind it leave it in the parking lot. 4 wheelers or motor bikes may be allowed for certain events, but discouraged at tech and pit entrance. In order for a driver to be eligible for end of year points monies or trophies the driver must compete in at least 75% of the race events
    for that division.
  22. In order to collect end of year points, monies, or trophies the driver must be present at the banquet.

DRIVER SAFETY IS THE DRIVERS RESPONSIBILITY! THIS IS NOT THE
AREA OF THE RACE CAR TO TRY AND SAVE MONEY, ANY MONEY SPENT ON DRIVER
SAFETY WILL ALWAYS BE WELL WORTH IT!

SECTION II: Safety

  1. The Bubba Raceway Park officials and or safety committee may inspect any and all cars for compliance with rules at anytime.
  2. If and when deemed necessary, officials shall have the authority to insist upon a physical or eye examination of any participant, including tests for alcohol or drugs.
  3. The flagman has the right to delay the race program until such time as he feels it is safe to continue.
  4. NO car shall have any riders except by special permission by race officials.
  5. All doors, hoods and trunk lids must be secured in an approved manner.
  6. No sharp edges or extended bolts or anything else which could cause injury to any car or to any person.
  7. Cars with open drive shafts must have straps ahead of the center of the drive shaft. Drive shaft must be painted white, and have car number on it.
  8. Battery shall be secured to frame of car and must be incased in a marine battery box or equivalent.
  9. All accelerator pedals must have a foot operated mechanical return and two throttle return springs.
  10. All cars running a stock type clutches MUST run a scatter shield.
  11. All steering wheels will be padded in the center. All steering columns will be collapsible type or minimum two heim joints.
  12. All cars must have a fire extinguisher (minimum 2 lbs) securely mounted within easy reach of driver. All extinguishers must display inspection stickers, have working gauges and be reinspected or recharged every (12) months. Halon systems are okay in all classes.
  13. ALL CARS MUST HAVE 3″ SEAT BELTS WITH SHOULDER HARNESS AND MUST BE ATTACHED TO ROLL CAGE. 3YRS MAXIMUM AGE STRONGLY RECOMMENDED
  14. BRP STRONGLY URGES AND RECOMMENDS SOME TYPE OF HEAD AND NECK RESTRAINT SYSTEM, BUT IS NOT REQUIRED. ALL RACERS UNDER THE AGE OF 16 MUST USE A HEAD AND NECK RESTRAINT SYSTEM FROM A REPUTABLE MANUFACTURER.
  15. Helmets must be a Snell 95 or higher, MANDATORY.
  16. Nomex or equivalent fire suits are mandatory for all drivers in all divisions and must be in good repair. Repairs to fire suits must be made with Nomex or equivalent material. Suits with holes are not acceptable.
    Complete fire suits must be worn at all times. NOMEXGLOVES ARE REQUIRED.
  17. Full 18”x24” Window nets are required on the drivers side of the car and must be securely mounted in all classes except modifieds and latemodels. Nets must latch at the top and be operational from inside and outside of the car. Drivers must be able to get out of either side of the car in case of emergency.
  18. Aluminum racing seats with head rest required in all divisions.
  19. Fuel cells mandatory in all divisions unless otherwise noted: Securely mounted behind driver and behind rear firewall. No rigid filler spouts shall pass through body. Fuel cell must be contained in an approved steel container. All fuel cells must have check valve in vent line. Fuel cells must be a minimum of 8″ off the ground in all classes unless specific divisions require higher level. Fuel cells must be protected from all sides and located between the frame rails. No notching of frame rails. All fuel pick-ups must be top of tank. Exposed fuel cells must be protected from rear damage by installing steel loop bracing.
  20. Main structure of roll cage must be steel pipe or tubing, a minimum of 1.50 outside diameter with minimum .095 inch wall thickness. No square tubing or galvanized pipe allowed. No exceptions!! Roll bar padding around driver. No armor flex.

SECTION III: Line ups and scoring

  1. Drivers will draw pills each week to determine heat race lineup. The 1, 2, and 3 place finishers from the previous week in the Gladiators and Mini Stocks will start at the rear of their feature. Dq’s from the previous week will start all the way at the rear behind the previous winners. All others will line up in the feature according to heat race finish.
  2. All divisions will draw a pill for heat race line ups. The winner of the final heat race for each division will draw a pill to determine the invert for the feature line up.
  3. No heat races for divisions with less than 10 cars.
  4. In case of more than 24 cars the top finishers from the heat races will transfer to the “A” main. All other competitors will compete in “B” main and race for transfer into “A” main.

25-30 cars = 3 heats, top 6 transfer to A main, top 6 of B main transfer to A main

31-40 cars = 4 heats, top 5 transfer to A main, top 4 of B main transfer to A main

41-50 cars = 5 heats, top 4 transfer to A main, top 2 of 2 B mains transfer

If the field is to be set by qualifying: 1-24 cars will line up on redraw or invert

More than 24 the top 16 will be locked in, remainder will transfer from B mains

  1. Pit gate opens at 3:00pm. Drivers meeting will be held at 7:00pm. Racing will begin at 8:00pm. Pill draw cut off is 6:50pm. A driver may have a representative draw a pill for them provided the track has an authorization letter on file. Any driver not attending the drivers meeting will start at the rear of the heat races.
  2. In the event a driver is running late the promoter only will draw a pill for any driver that calls and requests this.
  3. All cars in official lineup must be in designated area at appointed time or start at rear.
  4. Any driver who starts the feature will receive all points for his or her car for that event once the green flag is displayed.
  5. No driver shall be substituted for another without approval of the pit marshal and the head scorer. The substitute driver will start at the rear of the field.
  6. Any driver who starts the feature will receive all the points for his/her car for that event once the green flag is displayed.

  8. Any driver who enters a race and does not notify the pit marshal and head scorer of a driver change will be disqualified.
  9. You run your assigned heat. Any driver not competing in his/her assigned heat will start at the rear of the field for his/her feature or B main.
  10. The scores lineup is official. Races will not be held up to discuss starting position.
  11. The make-up of championship or special events will be determined by Bubba Raceway Park management.
  12. Bubba Raceway Park has the right to consolidate or otherwise modify the make-up of the races if the number of contestants present or  other conditions warrant their doing so. Bubba Raceway Park reserves the right to up time limits on any class. Time limit for races are ONE minute per lap.
  13. No driver, car owner, or mechanic shall have any claim for damages, expenses or otherwise against the promoter, Bubba Raceway Park, track operator and the likes, or it’s officials, by reason of disqualification or damage to either car or driver, or both and they agree the track is in a safe condition prior to taking part in the racing activities.
  14. All drivers, car owners and pit crew members assume full responsibility for any and all injuries sustained anytime they are in route to or from Bubba Raceway Park.
  15. All drivers and owners must furnish social security number and/or business federal identification number, if applicable, phone number and address to track office before being able to collect winnings. No Exceptions!
  16. Drivers cannot move down more than one division without permission of the management. Division eligibility will be determined by Bubba
    Raceway Park officials.
  17. Officially assigned numbers at least 18″ high, neatly painted on both doors and roof contrasting with car color and highly visible. Infraction of letter size rule shall not cause disqualification, but shall disqualify anyone from protesting scoring or position change.
  18. There will be no four digit numbers or letters allowed.
  19. Anyone entering the scoring tower to contest anything without being asked to do so, will be fined $500.00 and/or disqualified at the discretion of Bubba Raceway Park. This includes any and all members of your crew and car owner. Fines will have to be payed before you are allowed to return.
  20. After a heat or feature has displayed the green flag a driver can no longer change cars. If a driver changes cars between the heat and feature he must start at the rear of the feature.
  21. Purses should be picked up at the end of the race night. Purses will not be mailed. Purses not claimed within 30 days will go to the drivers
    point fund.

Each driver not qualifying for the feature race after the heats will receive 15 points.
Each driver registering to race for that night will receive 5  points unless there is a disqualification for any reason.

SECTION V: Track Rules

  1. The flagman shall have complete charge of the cars any time they are on the racing surface.
  2. The pit marshal shall be in charge of the pits under the direction of the flagman during race events.
  3. Drivers who do not obey track rules may be subject to disqualification, fines and/or suspension.
  4. A race may be stopped at any time at the discretion of the flagman
    or officials if they consider it dangerous or unsafe to continue.
  5. Any car causing a race to be stopped, such as a spin out shall be
    considered as involved in an accident and will go to the rear on
    restart.
  6. Any contact between two cars and one of them loses control both cars will go to the rear if the caution comes out.
  7. If a car spins out to avoid an accident that has already brought out the caution that driver will regain his position back.
  8. Leader MAY be protected at the tracks discretion.
  9. Deliberate taking someone out will result in being black flagged and possibly suspended.
  10. Standard racing flags will be used in all races.
  11. The race is officially started when the pole car receives the first green flag.
  12. When the red flag comes out all cars must stop and shut off engines unless otherwise instructed by officials.
  13. On a red flag, the driver must remain with the car and may only make adjustments with hands or tire gauge. No tools allowed.
  14. When the caution flag comes out, we will revert back to the last completed lap UNDER green.
  15. If the race is stopped or a caution occurs before completion of the
    first lap there will be a complete restart. Cars choosing to pit must
    fall in to the rear of the field for restart.
  16. All restarts until the half way point of the race will be double file.
  17. On double file restarts the leader may choose inside or outside
    line. The second place car must do the opposite. The rest of the field
    will remain in position.
  18. On single file restarts everyone will line up behind the leader and may pass on the outside once the green flag is displayed.
  19. No one except drivers and officials will be allowed on the track at
    any time after the race starts. This means absolutely NO ONE on the
    racing surface. Anyone caught on the racing surface will cause the
    driver disqualification, fines or both, at the flagman or promoters
    discretion. Racing surface begins at the track entrance in the pits.
  20. There will be no communications allowed in any race event. No video cameras or scanners are allowed in the pits.
  21. The yellow flag and light means caution and when given by the flagman, the cars must slow down to parade lap speed.
  22. Any car leaving the racing surface for repairs under the yellow flag
    will restart at the rear of the field. Any car leaving the racing
    surface under red flag conditions will be disqualified.
  23. When the black flag is given, the driver must slow down and keep
    clear of all other cars in the race and must pull into the pits at the
    first opportunity. After receiving the black flag the 2nd time the
    driver will not be scored.
  24. When the blue flag with yellow stripe is given, the car or cars
    given this flag must move to the outside of the track to allow the car
    or cars that are lapping them to pass without delay.
  25. The white flag means one lap to go.
  26. When the checkered flag is given the lead car, the race is
    officially over. All other cars will be awarded their positions on the
    distance traveled in the event that they are not in the same lap as the
    leader. You must take the checkered flag to win.
  27. All races shall be run until the leader covers the advertised
    distance or until time limit is up. In the event that unforeseen
    circumstances prevent the completion of the advertised racing distance,
    the race will be considered officially completed when the halfway mark
    has been reached, provided circumstances make it impossible to continue
    the race within a reasonable time after it has been stopped.
  28. In the event of a car dropping from the lineup as scheduled, the
    cars will be moved straight up to fill the gap, unless it is the pole
    sitter, then the field will cross.
  29. Any car jumping the flag. (flagman’s discretion)
    1. 1st time on you.
    2. 2nd time to the rear of the field.
  30. There will be no deliberate banging or bumping done on the track. You will be black flagged at the discretion of the flagman.
  31. Any driver who deliberately blocks the track and will not let tow
    vehicles hook up to his or her car or move it off the track will be
    disqualified from the rest of the program. There will be a loss of
    points and money earned and will be fined and/or suspended at the
    discretion of the Bubba Raceway Park officials.
  32. Intentionally crashing or ramming at any time during the race event
    will not be tolerated. Driver will be disqualified, fined $100.00
    minimum, suspended 1 week, and/or permanently banned at the discretion
    of Bubba Raceway Park officials.
  33. Any car causing three yellow or red flags or any combination thereof
    will be disqualified from that race. It is the discretion of the
    flagman as to who is penalized in a yellow or red flag. Any car that is
    not competitive, off the pace, excessively being lapped, or considered
    dangerous to the race in progress can be black flagged.
  34. All drivers must run track approved tires and fuel. (see class rules)
  35. All ballast weights used must be painted white and have car numbers on it mounted by 1/2 inch bolts.
  36. No speeding in the pits. The pits speed limit is 5 mph.
  37. ANY DRIVER /crew member or family of driver or owner of race
    car/race team that comes inside the scoring tower at ANY time during the
    race program. Team /driver /owner will be fined $500 dollars and docked
    100 points. Must pay fine be for they are allowed to return.
  38. BRP OFFICIALS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO WEIGH ANY CAR AT ANY TIME DURING AN EVENT.

ANY CAR SPINNING OUT TWICE (2) AND/OR STOPPING ON THE TRACK WHICH
BRINGS OUT THE CAUTION FLAG TWICE, WILL BE BLACK FLAGGED AND SENT TO THE
PITS.ON INITIAL START OF A RACE, IF CONTACT IS MADE CAUSING A CAR OR
CARS TO SPIN OUT, AND NO LAPS ARE COMPLETED; THE CARS INVOLVED WILL GET
THEIR RESPECTIVE STARTING SPOTS BACK FOR THE COMPLETE RESTART. IF NO
CONTACT IS INVOLVED AND A CAR SPINS OUT ON THE INITIAL START, THAT CAR
WILL RESTART IN THE LAST STARTING POSITION. THIS CALL IS A RACE DIRECTOR
DECISION

ON THE ORIGINAL START OF EVERY RACE. THE START OF THE RACE IS WHEN
BOTH FRONT ROW CARS SIDE BY SIDE AT THE SAME TIME REACH THE ORANGE
BARREL/WHITE TRACTOR TIRE IN TURN FOR OR WHEN RACE DIRECTOR ANNOUNCES
GREEN OVER RACECEIVER.

IF A DRIVER JUMPS THE ORIGINAL START OF A RACE, THE CAUTION FLAG WILL
COME OUT, AND THE DRIVER JUMPING THE START WILL GO TO THE REAR (THERE
ARE NO WARNINGS)

AFTER THE ORIGINAL START LEADER THEN HAS LOW OR HIGH SIDE OPTION AND
LEADER WILL START THE RACE BY FIRING BETWEEN THE BLACK SCORE BOARD AND
THE ORANGE BARREL. IF 2nd PLACE DRIVER JUMPS LEADER. 2ND PLACE RACER
GOES TO REAR OF THE LONGEST NON LAPPED CARS. RACE DIRECTOR DECISIONS ON
THIS IS FINAL.

BRP ACTING RACE DIRECTOR RESERVE THE RIGHT TO GO A SINGLE-FILE RESTART AT ANY TIME DURING AN EVEN

BRP OFFICIALS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO TECH ANY CAR AT ANY TIME DURING AN EVENT.

ALL DRIVERS MUST ALWAYS ATTEND THE DRIVERS MEETING, AS IMPORTANT
ANNOUNCEMENTS CONCERNING THE EVENT, ITS FORMAT, AND PROCEDURES WILL BE
GIVEN. DRIVERS CAN BE DQED FOR MISSING DRIVERS MEETING

    1. UNDER GREEN FLAG OR CAUTION FLAG CONDITIONS, THE BRP RACE DIRECTOR
      RESERVES THE RIGHT TO INVOKE PENALTIES AND/OR SUSPENSIONS OF ANY DRIVER
      WHOSE ACTIONS ARE DEEMED TO BE OVERLY AGGRESSIVE, OR FALL INTO THE
      CATEGORY OF ROUGH DRIVING.
    2. DRIVERS WILL BE NOTIFIED OF PENALTIES THAT HAVE BEEN LEVIED BY THE SERIES DIRECTOR. ALL DECISIONS SHALL BE FINAL.
      1. NOTE: THIS RULE IS NOT INTENDED TO ELIMINATE COMPETITION OR
        ACCIDENTAL CONTACT; HOWEVER, IS INTENDED THAT DELIBERATE CONTACT AND/OR
        OVER-DRIVING, WILL BE PENALIZED.
      2. ANY COMPETITOR THAT VERBALLY ABUSES A BRP OFFICIAL BY USING PROFANE
        AND/OR DISRESPECTFUL LANGUAGE IS SUBJECT TO A FINE OF $100 FOR THE FIRST
        OFFENSE, A $300 FINE, A ONE-RACE SUSPENSION AND LOSS OF POINTS FOR THE
        SECOND OFFENSE, AND MORE THAN TWO OFFENSES WILL BE SUBJECT TO A ONE
        MONTH OR MORE SUSPENSION AND LOSS OF POINTS.
      3. ANY PHYSICAL CONFRONTATION, EITHER ON THE RACE TRACK OR IN THE PITS,
        WILL RESULT IN THE AGGRESSOR OR AGGRESSORS BEING SUSPENDED FOR ONE
        RACE, LOSS OF POINTS, AND FINED $300 FOR THE FIRST OFFENSE. THE SECOND
        OFFENSE WILL BE A SUSPENSION FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE SEASON, AND A
        MINIMUM OF A $500 FINE.
      4. ANY DRIVER WHO ENTERS ANOTHER DRIVER’S PIT AREA WILL BE DEEMED THE
        AGGRESSOR. AWAY FROM EITHER DRIVERS’ PIT AREA, BOTH DRIVERS WILL BE
        CONSIDERED AGGRESSORS. DRIVERS SHOULD BE AWARE THAT THEY WILL BE HELD
        RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY MEMBERS OF THEIR RACE TEAM, AND THE ABOVE PENALTIES
        WILL APPLY EVEN IF THE DRIVER CONCERNED IS NOT DIRECTLY INVOLVED.
      5. ANY INCIDENTS THAT OCCUR DURING THE LAST FIVE EVENTS OF THE SEASON
        COULD RESULT IN PENALTIES BEING APPLIED AT THE BEGINNING OF THE
        FOLLOWING SEASON.
      6. ANY INCIDENTS THAT ARE JUDGED TO BE DELIBERATE ACTS OF AGGRESSION,
        WHETHER ON OR OFF THE TRACK, UNDER GREEN OR CAUTION, WILL RESULT IN
        DISQUALIFICATION AND A MONETARY FINE TO BE DETERMINED BY BRP OFFICIALS.
      7. BRP OFFICIALS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO INCREASE THE ABOVE PENALTIES, DEPENDING ON THE SEVERITY OF THE INCIDENT.
      8. ANY DISQUALIFICATION OR VIOLATION WILL RESULT IN NO POINTS AND NO MONEY FOR THE EVENT

BRP OFFICIALS ALSO RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REQUEST THE REMOVAL OF ANY
DEROGATORY OR DISTASTEFUL STATEMENTS ON ANY RACE CAR, TRAILER OR
TRANSPORTER. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THIS REQUEST FOR REMOVAL MAY RESULT
IN DISQUALIFICATION FROM SOME OR ALL OF THE BRP EVENTS.

THE DECISIONS MADE, AND THE DISCIPLINARY ACTIONS TAKEN, BY BRP
OFFICIALS HEREUNDER SHALL NOT BE APPEALED BY THE DRIVER, TEAM MEMBER OR
TEAM SPONSOR AFFECTED THEREBY.

PLEASE NOTE: BY ENTERING, QUALIFYING AND/OR RACING
IN A BRP EVENT, YOU ARE ACCEPTING THESE RULES AND REGULATIONS AS BEING
THOSE UNDER WHICH YOU ARE PREPARED TO RACE. ANY DRIVER ENTERING AND
COMPETING IN A BRP EVENT ACKNOWLEDGES AND ACCEPTS THE FOLLOWING: BRP AND
ITS ASSIGNS MAY USE THE DRIVERS NAMES, PICTURES, LIKENESS, AND
PERFORMANCES IN ANY WAY, MEDIUM, OR MATERIAL; INCLUDING WITHOUT
LIMITATION BY AND THROUGH, TELEVISION, RADIO, AIR WAVE: CABLE AND
SATELLITE BROADCASTS, FILM PRODUCTIONS, VIDEOTAPE REPRODUCTIONS,
AUDIOTAPE REPRODUCTIONS, TRANSMISSIONS OVER THE INTERNET, AND PUBLIC AND
PRIVATE ON-LINE SERVICES AUTHORIZED BY BRP AND THE LIKE, BEFORE, DURING
AND AFTER THE EVENT, FOR PROMOTING, ADVERTISING, RECORDING OR REPORTING
IN THE EVENT OR ANY OTHER BRP EVENT, AND DUE HEREBY RELINQUISH ALL
RIGHTS THERE TO FOR THESE PURPOSES, PROVIDED HOWEVER, THAT THE CAR OWNER
AND DRIVER SHALL RETAIN THE EXCLUSIVE USE OF ITS OR HIS NAME; PICTURE
AND LIKENESS IN CONNECTION WITH PRODUCT ENDORSEMENTS AND THE SALE OF
PRODUCTS, SERVICES, CONCESSIONS AND MERCHANDISE.

SECTION VI: Protests

Protest Fees:
$1000.00 whole car front to back top to bottom (120 minutes)
$600.00 for complete motor (90 minutes)
$300.00 for the top end (including bore & stroke) (45 minutes)
$100.00 for rear end (30 minutes)
$100.00 for torque converter or clutch assembly and flywheel (30 minutes)
$50.00 for front suspension (30 minutes)
$50.00 for rear suspension (30 minutes)
$50.00 for manual transmission side cover only (30 minutes)
$25.00 for all other minor items (30 minutes)

  1. Bubba Raceway Park officials have the right to confiscate any illegal parts!!!
  2. Drivers who do not attend the drivers meeting waive their right to protest.
  3. Visual protests must be given in writing to the tech man BEFORE the drivers meeting.
  4. Any driver finishing on the lead lap may protest. You may only
    protest a car that has finished in front of you. 10% of protest fee goes
    to the tech official and 10% goes to the drivers points fund.
  5. In order to protest the protesting driver must submit in writing,
    with the cash, the items to be protested on which car, to the tech man
    while the cars are in tech. All protests must be completed within 10
    minutes of completion of the feature race.
  6. Cash only for protests.
  7. The track has the right to protest any driver at any time during the race program, at no cost to the track or it’s official.
  8. NO COUNTER PROTESTING.
  9. All cars being protested will be allowed a 30 minute cool down time
    in a designated area by the tech man. If the car has not started being
    torn down within 30 minutes the driver is DQ’d.
  10. Only one person from the protesting car and a maximum of two (2)
    from car being protested will be allowed in the tech area. The driver
    may also be present with his/her car.
  11. Track and it’s officials have the right to turn down any protest at any time. We will not tolerate grudge protesting.
  12. The track has the right to inspect, P & G, check fuel or tires,
    if necessary on any car at any time. It is the drivers responsibility to
    have the car available for inspection.
  13. No payoff money will be paid until all protests are final in that division.
  14. Any car found illegal will forfeit all prize money and points earned in that event.
  15. Any driver who fails to tear down a car for inspection will forfeit money and points for that event.
  16. The track reserves the right to tear down the next car in line if a car is found illegal.
  17. All tech decisions will be considered final.
  18. Changes to rules will be located in the addendums section and will be done so with a weeks notice.
  19. Any driver wishing to claim a part from another car per division
    rules must finish on the lead lap behind the person with the parts being
    claimed. Anyone refusing a parts claim will be disqualified.
  20. SECTION VIII: RaceCeivers
  1. EACH BRP RACING PARTICIPANT WILL BE REQUIRED TO USE A RACECEIVER ONE
    WAY RADIO COMMUNICATION DEVICE (AVAILABLE TO BUY OR RENT AT BRP OFFICE)
    TO RECEIVE COMMUNICATION FROM THE BRP RACE DIRECTOR DURING ALL EVENTS.
    EVENTS INCLUDE THE HOT LAPS, TIME TRIALS, HEAT RACES, CONSI FEATURES AND
    THE A-MAIN EVENT. GENERALLY, THE DRIVER SHOULD HAVE HIS RACECEIVER
    INSTALLED AND TUNED IN TO THE DESIGNATED FREQUENCY WITH THE VOLUME
    TURNED UP TO RECEIVE COMMUNICATIONS AT ANY TIME THEY HAVE THEIR HELMET
    ON AND ARE PREPARED TO COMPETE. THIS WOULD INCLUDE THE TIMES DURING
    LINE-UP AND THE RUNNING OF THE EVENT AND UNTIL RETURNING TO THEIR OWN
    PIT SPACE.
  2. DRIVERS NEED TO MAKE SURE THEIR RACECEIVERS ARE TURNED ON AND IN
    WORKING ORDER BEFORE THEY GO ON THE RACE TRACK. BRP OFFICIALS CAN
    COMMUNICATE A REQUEST FOR YOU TO THE RACE DIRECTOR FOR A RACECEIVER
    RADIO CHECK. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE DRIVER TO MAKE SURE THEY
    HAVE A NEW BATTERY INSTALLED IN THEIR RACECEIVERS AT EACH EVENT. REMOVE
    THE BATTERY FROM THE RACECEIVER EACH TIME YOU COME BACK TO YOUR PIT
    AREA. KEEP SPARE BATTERIES WITH YOU AT THE TRACK.SHOULD YOUR RACECEIVER
    NOT WORK PROPERLY, REMOVE THE BATTERY AND PUT IT BACK IN TO RESET THE
    UNIT. IF THAT DOESN’T FIX THE PROBLEM, TRY PUTTING IN A NEW BATTERY. IF
    IT STILL DOESN’T WORK, CONSULT WITH A BRP USA OFFICIAL.IF A DRIVER DOES NOT HAVE A WORKING RACECEIVER THEY WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO RACEIF DRIVER IS IN TECH AFTER THE RACES OR HAS BEEN STOPPED ON THE TRACK
    BY A BRP OFFICAL AND DOES NOT HAVE A RACECEIVER DRIVER WILL BE DQED ON
    THE SPOT AND FINED 100 dollars. DRIVER WILL NOT GET ANY POINTS FOR THAT
    EVENT AND MUST SETTLE UP FINE BEFORE THEY CAN RACE AGAIN AT BRP

SECTION VII: Closing

  1. It is the responsibility of the competitor to obtain and become
    familiar with the current rules pertaining to the division in which
    he/she chooses to participate. Any item not covered in the division
    rules must be stock or approved by Bubba Raceway Park management. If any
    item being considered is not in your rules, competitor is required to
    contact management for a judgment as to acceptability. The rules and
    regulations set forth herein are designed to provide for orderly conduct
    of racing events. These rules shall govern the conditions of all
    events, and by participating in these events all participants are deemed
    to have obtained, read, and understood a copy of the current rules, and
    complied with these rules. No express or implied warranty of safety
    shall result from publication of or compliance with these rules and
    regulations. They are intended as a guide for the conduct of the sport
    and are in no way a guarantee against injury or death to a participant,
    spectator or official.
  2. Any drivers receiving end of year points money or trophies must
    attend the end of year banquet. Failure to attend the banquet will
    result in forfeiture of points money.
